I have a rooted Droid (original) running CM 6.1 stable. I use an app called Wireless Tether that works GREAT for access WiFi via my laptop.
I previously understood that this is Ad Hoc mode and that this is all the Droid could possibly do. However, I've just now read a few things that suggest this has been overcome in other apps.
I'd like to use my phone as an access point for some other uses where Ad Hoc mode doesn't seem to work (a friend wants to check out their PS3 access that they only use as a BluRay player, for example).
Is this now possible with other apps/setups?
