Wifi not turning on?

Hello, for some reason when I try to turn on my Wifi when I am at home so I don't use 4g/3g data it is not coming on anymore? when I enable it, it stays in 3g/4g even though it says wifi is on? anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?

I don't have the nexus but maybe go in to your wifi settings, scroll down to manage networks, then select manage all networks and touch yes for forget all networks. After that re-enter you wifi information.

I restarted my router and it fixed the issue. Thought it was an issue with the phone but it was not. Thanks!
