As far as I know, since you have the Verizon version the only way would be with root. But it's not hard at all. I used the casual method and it went off without a hitch. Rooted and running beans rom version 12 and it's amazing. You'll get rid of the wifi notification AND have all apps in the multi window.......among many other things. Is well worth it imo. How that helps.
