wifi reboot loop on connect

I am running cy v 5062 and have a problem. when wifi is turned on at a friends apt i get reboot after reboot till wifi is off. it is caused by someones id on the wifi having symbols like ' or @ ect. this has been discussed on the forum about wifi reboots. only a cy based rom does this. any fix yet for this?

I'm running 5.0.6.1 and have wifi in my home. Three of my neighbors have wifi routers which my Droid and MacBook Pro both recognize. I've not have problems with their wifi.

I can't understand why a routers id (SSID) would cause a reboot.

Thanks! I've running 5.0.6.1 and have not had a problem yet the link you provided included 5.0.6.1. I must be lucky
