Wifi Tether Not Working On Bionic

I've flashed ROM after ROM and run into a few setbacks along the way, but I've always been able to hash things out in the end. I can't seem to get past this one though: no matter what I try (and believe me, I've looked around and dug into many people's suggestions), I can't get the wifi tether for root users to work. It shows that it actually throws out a signal, but dependent devices can't get actual service from it. I don't know what the problem is, and I would appreciate any ideas...thanks.:icon_evil:

Are you on ics leaks/ics leaks rom?
Its know not to be working even if you change to ics generic once you disable/close app you phone will reboot
No wifi tether app work on the leak roms properly

Ok. So, ur saying that no matter what I do I'm not going to be able to get the wifi tether to work properly because I'm on the leak?

Tried Foxfi on someone's recommendation and things have panned out nicely. Thanks...
