wifi tether?

does anyone have wifi tether actually working? I have tried the tbh 3g hotspot and wifi tether 3.1 beta 2...... neither work

i am running Liberty GB

i havent tried barnacle but i need to tether more than one device so that wont really work for me.

I'm interested too. And barnacle doesn't work on 2.3 anyway, I tried it.

Before my d2 got sent back I used pdanet when I was on a gb rom and it worked good

Wifi tether works on my Droid 2. Rooted, running Liberty GB. Use the wifi tether 3.1 beta 2 with the patch. Took awhile to get working because my laptop was being finicky. I haven't used it extensively though, because 2g/3g here isn't stable

Since its been a week or so since I first tried it, I figured I would test it again today. I'm using it right now. I use the DroidX device profile though, not the Droid2, even though I'm running it on a D2.

I just got this working on my D2 running GB Liberty v 0.8 with the patch. I am able to connect a laptop and an iPad successfully.

Note, I am using the 2.06 version of wifi tether. I could not get the 3.1BETA to work.

Yes. TBH. You can find it in another thread called gingerbread and wifi tether. I cannot link from here else I would.

wow, thanks for that.... I bought the TBH app just so i can have access to the 3g tether hack, but its not even in there! i was just installing the app itself this whole time, thinking it was the hack
