Wifi Tether

Okay, i installed android 2.2 (Froyo) on my Droid and then used Easy Root to root it. I then installed Wireless Tether and connected to my laptop with no problem but when i tried to go to a site like google.com, nothing loaded. it was stuck on the "searching for...." thing. i am sorta a comp geek and help would be very appreciated.

No, nothing at all.

try uninstalling it and reinstalling in and deleting the SU permissions. did you change any of the encryption settings on it?
