Will my alarm still go off in sleep mode?

If I put my phone into sleep mode, (the new feature in gingerbread) will my alarm still go off while in sleep mode?

No, just tried on my dx & the alarm didnt go off until I woke the phone up from sleep. I assume its the same deal on the d2

thanks for verifying ....
i guess then sleep mode shouldnt be enabled when u count on the phones' alarm.
i would probably use it when my battery is running low & not near an outlet.

it makes more sense to put the phone into airplane mode overnight or when sleeping.
