Will The LG V30 Have A Curved Display?

Samsung led the way with curved displays starting with the S6 Edge. Now their latest flagship phones don't even have a flat screen variant. Some other manufacturers have taken note of Samsung's success with the curved edges and have released curved edge phones of their own. Now it looks like LG may be preparing to do the same with the V30.

LG Display has had a bit of practice with manufacturing curved displays as it was the supplier of curved displays for some Mi Note 2 devices from Xiaomi. We have also seen a bit of a curved display from LG on devices like the V20 which had a curved edge near the top of the display. According to a report be The Investor displays being produced for the V30 are "similar to the curved screens used in Samsung Electronics' flagship models". Would a dual curved edge display make the V30 any more interesting for you?

Please no! I hate curved screens and it looking more and more like with my next phone I will be stuck with one.

Yeah, I know. That's what I meant.
It's interesting to see how one style made it, and the other didn't.
It's also interesting to know that curved TV's from Samsung are stealing the show, but curved like the GFlex, not like the S6/S7/S8 Edge.

it's definitely a different kind of curve... I'm not sure how I feel about curved HD tvs... I mean movie theaters have a curve to them too.... sometimes

I didn't know this but apparently Sony launched the first curved HD TV not sammy.

Don't worry, it'll be Gorilla glass 48 and will be bulletproof, gamma ray proof, scratch proof and be a perfect 2 way mirror when the screen is off
