Will (upcoming) gingerbread ever get rooted?

I like most have a rooted X2. But HATE X2 on Froyo. Does anyone foresee GB getting rooted anytime soon. I had the X it had a rooted version of up-to-date GB. Ideas?

We're Gonna Have To Sit Tight And Wait. P3 Wants It Right Away When The Update Hits, Sounds Like He Wants To Establish Root For Us.

I want a Droid X(1) fast phone on GB. But not at the loss of root. I hope he can get the X2 GB System dump ASAP when it hits!
