Winamp updating every day - Notifications

Is there any way to get this notification to stop appearing, other than uninstalling? I have automatic update checked, but nothing seems to happen automatically.

Also, is there a way to clear the notification after it updates other than going back to notifications and opening the useless "application updated" window?
