Windows Media Files/movies

Ok so i have downloaded a movie to my pc via digital copy on my dvd, plays on the pc fine, but when i sync it to my droid it does not work. am i doing somthing wrong? do i need to change the media format before sync? this is only the second movie i downloaded i the other one plays fine on the droid. any help would be welcome.

wma, after long time trying i reset the phone, seems there was an issue with the phone itself, i deleted the movie and re-synced it and is now working, strangly enough, thank you all for your assistance
