Wing tsing task killer

I was wondering if any one else has this task killer?

Cannot find that particular TK in the market...but you do not necessarily need one as the Android OS will manage tasks / processes on its own...

As smalltowngirl said, Task Killers are not needed, they only drain battery and slow performance

So not having a task killer is ok? What about the programs running in the background on the phone? Does the Droid X shut them down itself?

+1 to everyone. TKs need to be TKO'd.

Yes, it does. Having something in memory takes as much juice as un-filled RAM, so there's no battery penalty. Having a TK actually bogs your system down some and uses a lot of juice because it keeps ramping the CPU up and the apps usually start up again anyway. Read the link Abe pointed at.
