Wipe data/cache - loose game progress

Whenever I wipe my data and cache to install a new rom, I loose any progress I've made in games such as Angry birds.

Is there anyway to back up this data?

Find the save files and back them up to your SD card.

I use titanium backup before adding roms/themes. You can backup the data for any/all of your apps to your sd card with just a few clicks and then when you boot the phone with your new rom just dl titanium backup and restore everything.
