Wired+wireless tether not working?

The tether works for about 5 minutes then the internet cuts off. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I fix it?

Wish I could help, it has always worked for me. Are you running a custom rom? I'm just running a rooted 2.2.2 now because I got tired of all the unstable ROMs out there. Since I went back to 2.2.2 and just rooted I've had no problems at all using Wireless Tether For Root Users. Even when using it for like 4 hours straight.
