Wireless tether problems

I've rooted my Nexus and installed the wireless tether app I used for years on my OGD. For some reason my net book and tablet are not recognizing the network. It seems like it is not working even though it says its running. Anyone having similar troubles or have suggestions on how to fix it?

I got it. Had to Google wireless tether for root and download the newest stable release.
