Won't turned on

I am unable to power on my droid. The power button does nothing. The phone is charged, the green dot is flashing. I have tried it both plugged into a wall socket and not. Any ideas?

It was find and I was using it. Then had it in my pocket for about 30 minutes. Did not light when I touched power button.
