Wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

What The Fudge?

HTC Sense, Android 2.1, pinch-to-zoom and a whole lot of Lady Gaga | Android Central

Ok... you see how some companies are really pushing the edge of technology? Incorporating multi-touch into the home screen to enable a windows of all pages is brilliant. Many will say "ah man who needs that? its superficial junk" like some said similarly in my other thread, but some companies are really shooting toward the future. Thing is... can we Droid users get this feature? Or will that be with update 4.0?

Yep seven screens. I really wonder what makes other creators with the Android OS only limit 3? Hmmm... Company's Creative Departments need more creative people. lol

It's all making people still want. They have the ability to do so many things, but they will hold it out as long as they can to keep people interested. The people who make these products know what would be awesome and make everyone extremely happy with phones.

meh is that useful? im not digging the multitouch stuff, it requires two hands and typically i walk and use one hand...

Useful? For me, yes it is. Its the same thing as cascading all windows on Windows, Expose on OSX, etc... it helps being organized and keeping track of what is on what page.

Now what Google needs to do is allow multi-tasking on per screen. Have a browser on one screen, Gallery on the next, Music, etc... then one could use this, etc...

Multi-touch may or may not be ones likings, but one thing for sure, it is reshaping technology as life goes by, and it is one of the hot things on the Apple iPhone, and what many wanted for the Droid... just take a look at all the news.

If it is useful or not, is neither here or there, its all about making the mobile experience better, and better, and better, and you guessed it.. better.

That would be so great.

I agree. I think this would speed things up as well. Separation of memory, or partitioning memory is one way to free up virtual memory, sense everything won't be ran on one screen, and things can be "ran in background".

that's how the new Palm OS works. the Palm Pre and Pixi have it setup like that.

Not really familiar with the android operating system, eh?

Perhaps you should check out some of the alternate home screens available.

That would be so great.

Ha...

I've checked out a multi-tude of ALTERNATIVE home screens available. Perhaps you should check out the story I posted? That is the native system doing it, no alternatives. We know there are alternatives available that isn't the point. I'm not Google, Motorola, or HTC, but I'm pretty fond of the OS, why do you need some help with it? Maybe I can provide some help.

Yep. Only if we had that on these robots. Palm is a little too "cute" for me. lol
