As was reported earlier the stock images of Android M Developer Preview 2 have been made available for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, and Nexus 9. Flashing the stock image is exactly what you will need to do if you are not already on the current M developer preview build. Normally you would need to install the SDK to your PC and have a bit of ADB and Fastboot know how. You would need to grab and extract the stock image and then flash the files one by one.
There is a much easier way. The Wugfresh Nexus Root Toolkit can not only root and unlock your bootloader, it is also by far the easiest way ever to flash a stock image! First turn on USB Debugging mode under developer optins (to enable dev options go to settings/about phone/ click on build number 7 times). To flash your own stock image open up the toolkit. Choose "Device is on/Normal" under "Restore/Upgrade/Downgrade" and then click Flash Stock+ Unroot. There is an option to browse for your stock image file. Choose the image file that you just downloaded. The toolkit does all the rest!
