Even though many of the big name manufacturers have opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 over the 810 because of its heat issues, there are still some OEMs brave enough to use the bigger 810 chip. In fact, Xiaomi just announced their latest flagship and it will include the Snapdragon 810. The device is the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and it will launch May 12th to China only.

Here are the full specs for the device:
  • 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor
  • 4GB LPDDR4 RAM
  • 64GB eMMC 5.0 flash storage
  • 5.7″ 2K (2560 x 1440) display from Sharp/JDI (515 PPI)
  • Sunlight Display technology for unparalleled outdoor visibility
  • 13MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS)
  • 4G Dual SIM
  • Supports LTE CAT 9 for up to 450Mbps download speeds
  • Hardware-optimized Hi-Fi audio for improved sound quality
  • High-capacity 3090mAh battery, supports Quick Charge 2.0 (charges up to 70% in 1 hour)
  • Aluminum frame and curved 2.5D and 3D glass on the front and back
The device will be an incredible value at only RMB2999 (about US$483) unlocked. It's a shame these devices don't hit the US more frequently. At this price, they would likely sell like hotcakes!

Great looking and awesome specs.

4GB DDR4 Ram with the 810, This looks like a Titan! Should be able to use with any GSM carrier. Something to consider with the No Contract Carriers like T-Mo or Metro.

It will work on AT&T as well, but I'm not sure whether you would get LTE though. It would most likely max out at HSPDA+ which is still plenty fast enough to do whatever you throw at it.
