Xoom or wait for Xoom2?

Should I just get ths Xoom wifi only for $399 and send it in for the free 4G LTE upgrade? Or wait it out for the Xoom2?

You can tether using your tbolt. You can wait for the xoom2 but it'll be more expensive. If you need it now just buy it. You'll never have the latest and greatest in technology, it moves too fast.

Go look at Verizon Wireless website. I believe you can get a Certified Previous Owned Xoom for $399 and that model is allowed the 4g upgrade for free. I bought one, and it's at Motorola now getting the upgrade!

Please let us know how your 4g upgrade is. I just purchased a certified pre-owned Xoom and am sending mine to Motorola on Monday. I'm excited. I live in a 4g area and my Thunderbolt is fast.

Wait to get lower than $399?? ? ? That is puzzling! Lol. Compared at the cost of the 32 GB iPad, $729; the 32 GB Galaxy 10.1, $629 it's a NO brainer. And the iPad will never be 4g. Jeez......

I got my Xoom back today. I sent it to Motorola Friday evening. Mototola received it on Monday and I got it today Friday. Its fast! Motorola sent me a free standard charging dock; which is $49.99 at verizon. I don't regret my purchase at all.

My Xoom was shipped out on a Tuesday, they received it in Wednesday and I got it back the following Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). Everything worked fine. Just not in a 4g area yet....sigh!

Yup received mine as well, but have to send it back in due to shoddy work putting the port cover back on. Had a noticeable bump where they forced it on with the screws. Sucks but oh well. See.how long it takes to get it back.
