It’s that time of the month again, yes, the time when Motorola and Verizon push out their updates, this one being for the Xoom users. This update has been rumored for quite some time now, and it’s near official with this leaked pdf basically giving us the update changes. The changes all seem pretty minor and mostly just improvements to an already pretty well rounded tablet.
Here is the change log:

  • [FONT=&quot]WPA Pre-Shared Key pass-phrases are now supported when using the device as a Mobile Hotspot.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Supports Google Widevine DRM and HDCP.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Email and Messaging[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

  • [FONT=&quot]POP3 HTML emails will display in their entirety.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Call Features[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

  • [FONT=&quot]Bluetooth® is now supported in Google TalkTM.[/FONT]

  • [FONT=&quot]Encrypted passwords can be entered during power up.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Calendar events will remain up to date after an installed software update.[/FONT]

  • [FONT=&quot]Safely dock the MOTOROLA XOOM into the docking adapter without interruption. + Ability to add and use a Bluetooth mouse. + A shortcut key for the Bluetooth keyboard has been added. + View and import pictures from digital cameras with Picture Transfer Protocol.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]When using the device in accessibility mode, menus will no longer prompt with sounds.[/FONT]

I'll be looking forward to the update...after someone hacks the files and makes them flashable on a rooted device :wink:
