XT912 Mobile Data Issues

Hello,

I recently acquired a Verizon XT912. I'm using it on Virgin Mobile (Canada) and having some issues with the odd program when using online apps without WiFi access. Play Store, for example, cannot connect when I'm not using WiFi.

I get the "This sim card is from an unknown source" error when I boot up my phone freshly, but I'm able to make calls just fine.

I have this issue with stock settings and / or with the device rooted.

Any ideas for how to fix this?
