Does anyone know how to change the sound alert for the yahoo mail app? Its probably the most annoying sound on my phone

Similiar question. Does anyone know how to adjust the volume of the notification? The phone's volume settings, even for notifications, don't seem to do anything. The volume of the notification seems like it alone will blow the speaker.
