Odd Up until last week (when I deleted my Yahoo account due to the overwhelming amount of spam sent from my account) it worked perfectly fine.

i have the same problem. it worked perfectly on froyo but now on gb it doesnt work at all.

Yahoo mail Push

Delete the yahoo account from your phone and reinstall it. You'll get a new Yahoo icon and re establish your mail. It's a Gingerbread quirk with some phones.
