I tried searching, but with so many fractured root threads, I wasn't able to find what I was looking for.
I was running stock 2.1 on the droid X with root, having used the easyroot process to do so. When the OTA update came out, I decided to wait until I had time to find out what was needed before continuing. Unfortunately, even after denying the update, it later updated on it's own.
I'm now running the OTA 2.2 update, and while it still shows the superuser icon in the app drawer, attempting to run a root required app (like root explorer) gives me the error unable to obtain root.
Can I just follow the normal rooting steps for rooting 2.2, or do I have to do something seperate, since I still seem to have the superuser icon?
