I read these forums for weeks to decide on my purchase, and finally bought my Droid last weekend. It's been a blast, and it replaces a combo of a Sony Clie TH55, an iPod Touch 2G, and a tired out SE flip phone.
My biggest challenge will be exporting data from the Clie and finding suitable new apps that use fingers instead of a stylus. I do miss the speed of Graffiti and having tiny fonts. Luckily the Android widgets seem to fill the tiny text void, even though the apps themselves are huge print for fingertip navigation.
