You can reboot a Droid2?!

I just found this out entirely by accident, and I apologize if this has been posted before. I couldn't find it on a search.

Apparently you can reboot a Droid 2 by holding Shift/Alt/Del on the slideout keyboard!

thats pretty cool ... thanks for the tip. i know how to do it thru terminal ... and i issue the 'sync' command just before 'reboot', wondering if this key combo syncs the OS prior to reboot ...

I was typing an email and wanted to delete a line. I held Shift/Alt and instead of hitting the back arrow, I went for the Delete key by mistake. I was horrified when my screen went black. But I nearly soiled myself when it rebooted! I tried it one more time on purpose and will never have to pull my battery again!

Ya I've been using this for a while. Really helps when the phone locks up and you don't want to take the case off for a battery pull.

Yeah this was posted by someone about 3 months ago. Shift/alt/del is what you use for windows computer too

in windows its actually ctrl-alt-del

You are right lol but its the same for the original droid that's where I discovered it first then I tried it on the droid 2 and it worked, how ever some times I feel like its not the same as a battery pull cuz it doesn't get you into bootstrap rec.

It worked on my Droid 1 with Chevy's 4.96 rom!! I've been on this forum and other android forums since October of 2009. I've had my Droid 1 since November of 2009. I've been rooted for over a year and have installed dozens and dozens of roms and this is the FIRST I've ever heard of this. Very, very cool find!!! :icon_ banana:
