We all know it and we all hate it when we see it. Vertical video can be such a drag. Everytime we see someone out in public shooting a vertical video it is all we can do not to go take their phone out of their hand and show them the correct way to hold it while recording video. This is an epidemic, and most of those doing it will argue that this vertical is the proper way to shoot videos since this is the way facebook displays them. The same could not be said for youtube until now. The latest update finally displays vertical videos correctly. If you hold your phone in portrait you will see the complete video, if you hold your phone in landscape there will be giant letter bars on each side. Head to the link to grab this update now.

Sad that this was even necessary. If you're shooting video vertically with your phone, you're doing it wrong, plain and simple.
How many of your flat screen tv's at home are sitting on the shelf or hanging on the wall vertically?? Thats right, none of them. So start holding your darn phones the right way if you're going to shoot video!

Sorry...Just a huge pet peeve of mine in case you couldn't tell.

I'm right there with ya @JKZ ! It just boggles the mind how many people STILL do this. Makes you want to bang you head against a wall! [emoji23]
