Z4root not working on DROIDX 2.3.3

Z4root use to work on my other DROIDX phone but on this 2.3.3 version after installed it forecloses wen I pick perm or temp? So how do I root this version?

Z4Root only worked on 2.2.1 Froyo for the X, and Gingerbreak rooted the leaked builds up until the .595 build. If you are running the Gingerbread OTA from Verizon, you aren't going to be able to root it.
 
If you want to be rooted, you have to SBF back to Froyo, root with Z4Root, then install the patched two-part zips P3Droid released on Mydroidworld.

Like he said. You can not root the GB OTA 596 from VZW. I'm sure someone is working on rooting it, but it may take a few weeks to get it.
