Anybody tried the Rosenberg root for the D4?

Dan Rosenberg has released his root exploit via his web site after asking for a $500 bounty. Anybody on board to give it a try?

Yeah, Got done returning the D2 R2D2 to stock then ran right through it. Now using TI to freeze all the bloat. Sweet. Donation made.

What kind of connection setting does the phone need to be on for the root to work? (PC mode, Media Sync, Mass storage, Charge?) Or does it even matter?

When I run the program is just sites there saying "started daemon"... Do I need to do something else?

Nevermind I didn't have the drivers installed (Motorola_End_User_Driver_Installation_5.2.0_64bit.msi)

Yep, root went flawless, tether installed and running, all in less thanan hour from walking out the store.

Ran it like a champ. I love this community.

Next thing to wait for is to see when/if CWM Recovery is available for it. I'm itching to make a nandroid and tweak the crap out of this thing. Stock interface bugs the crap outta me. Gotta put an end to those shenanigans right quick.

Make sure your device is in USB debugging mode

Does anyone know the situation with that supposed "flash detection" circuit with this phone? Does it have it, do they even check it if you need to call on the warranty?

Rooted, De-bloated, and tether/hotspot hacked, all in just a couple minutes. Now it I like it even better!
