Can not assign pictures to contacts..

I was wondering if anybody else is have problems assigning pictures, either from the camera or gallery, to their contacts. I can only seem to upload the ones attached to my Google account. I am rooted, unlocked, and running Viscous JB.

Is it FC'ing? If so, open your people app, click on the person you want to change the picture for, click on their picture and select new photo from Gallery.

That is the method I have been attempting but after I select the photo and crop it; it FC's on me
