can not transfer files from laptop

Hi all, even after 7 months I can not transfer files from my laptop (xp professional 64bit). I downloaded samsung drivers and loaded on laptop. It recognizes the phone but it wants to copy only media files as a camera, but not actual files. I used the same drivers on differnt computer it works great. Any body has issue like that.<br><br>Maguiz

On the phone, click for USB debugging. Now plug into computer USB. The phone is now a standard memory stick.

you did not read my question completely. Means Even after all the above is checked, still I can't read on my laptop. But if I hooked to differnt computer, I can read. The problem is I use the aptop more than the other computer.

Are you using the same cord to connect to both computers?

Can you plug other USB devices into the same port on your laptop and use them properly?

Have you checked in Device Manager to see if that USB port is having issues?

If your laptop has wifi you can use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid . Just as good or better than usb, imo.
