Can't set my own lock screen wallpaper after update?

I can set my home screen wallpaper to whatever I want but for some reason the lock screen will only set the included wallpapers?

There are three choices under Menu | Set wallpaper: Home screen, Lock screen, and Home and lock screens. Did you try that last choice and it didn't work?

Yep tried it, it will let me pick the picture, crop it and set it as the lock screen wallpaper.

But it never shows up, just defaults to the last stock wallpaper.

I actually had that on a couple of different pictures. It appears that it will occur if the crop is too close to the edges of the phone (or at least, the lines of the phone display when choosing the cropped section).
