Is there any difference in cables used for car chargers or is anyone just as good as another when using a 2.1amp charger?

I am not talking about the charger itself. I just ordered this from Amazon after reading good things about it.
Amazon.com: Anker 24W/4.8A Dual-Port USB Car Charger / Rapid Travel Charger Portable Charger for iPhone 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, 4; iPad 5, Air, Mini; iPod Touch, Nano; Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, S2, Galaxy Note 3, 2; Kindle; LG G2; Nexus 5, 7; PS 4; Motorola Droi

I am talking about the cable itself to use with a charger like this. I read where you should use a 24AWG charging only cable as opposed to a cable that can be used for data and charging. That would give you the quickest charge time. The only one I could find (link below) was on Amazon but gets shipped from UK so it takes awhile. I went ahead and ordered 2 anyhow.

Amazon.com : PortaPow Specialised 5ft 24AWG Charge Only Micro USB Cable for Blackberry, Xperia, HTC One, Google Nexus, Other Fast Charging Devices : Electronics Power Cables : Electronics

24 AWG is a good step up from 28 AWG but the improvement in this cord is that it inhibits the data transfer mode so it will charge at 1.0A instead of 0.5A. Plus the 24 gauge wire is better for charging. The smaller the number, the bigger the wire. The diameter of 24 AWG is ~ 40% thicker than 28 AWG wire and has half the resistance. More trons make it to your phone faster.

The 5 foot cable is fulfilled by Amazon so you can get it pretty quick. The 8 foot cable comes from England and may take awhile.

Thanks for the link! Just ordered 2 myself!

I thought I had ordered the 5ft cable and it is coming from England

In the vehicle - I use short as possible - 3 foot/1 meter is max.
Usual is 1.5 foot on 2 amp gets the phone charged nicely.
Charging port is also the option to have closer with optional muti port blocks to stick where necessary.

With GPS and everything else - a USB charging port is next to foam cup holder where phone rides safely.
I have to break bad habits with old phone - getting out of vehicle - and phone falls out onto concrete.
