I don't think so, there has been no news about it...sadly the Devour doesn't have a hacking community, so the chances of getting root are nil...but if you really want root, you could try do it yourself, but it may take months

nah i dont have a devout i got a droid i was just wondering if it had root bc my bro wants me to get him a phone and he liked that one

Well what features does your brother want? He doesn't necessarily need a rooted phone if he likes the Devour how it is
