Droid 3 Signal Issues/ Lock Screen Not Working

Today I wake up and my lock screen isn't working. I push the power button to lock my phone, then again to unlock, and it briefly shows my lock screen for maybe a second then automatically goes to the home screen. Any Tips? Also, I have noticed that my signal is never more than one bar. I always had almost full signal on my other phone. Any other people having these issues with their Droid 3?

My signal is fine but my lock screen does the exact same thing...this makes it hard to check the time on my phone and makes me feel like I didn't get my moneys worth

My sliding lock screen is doing the exact same thing, although on my wife's it is working just like when we first got the phones.

I had the same thing happen. The only way I was able to restore it was a factory reset. However, this had the side benefit of dramatically improving my battery life...
