Facebook contacts on Apex 1.4

I am having issues with Facebook not syncing my contacts. I have cleared the data, uninstalled and re-installed the apps, and removed the account and tried to re-add it. Nothing works so far. I did a full wipe before flashing apex 1.4. When I try to re-add the account it either gives an error that it can't be completed at this time or just says downloading contacts and never finishes. Any help would be appreciated.

did you open the my accounts app in app drawer and add facebook?

That is where I am having the issue. When I try to add it I get the error or it tries to load them but never does.

have you downloaded facebook for android from the market and tried it ?

Yup. Multiple times.

have you tried to wipe and reflash the rom

Not yet. I was hoping to avoid that but I guess not.

well i have never had any problem with my facebook so i cant offer much more advice


first thing i would do is just flash the rom over itself without wiping and see if that helps

i have the exact same problem. the contacts sync with the blur messaging but not aosp
