Google sync error out of nowhere, need some help...

So just earlier today I got a notification saying action required for my Google account. This screen keeps popping up and no matter which option I select it makes no difference. I haven't changed anything lately or downloaded any new apps or anything. I did get an update the other day for some sort of Google app that I had never heard of. Any ideas? Very frustrating..

Did you check on PC if you could sign in to Google with regular account and password...usually that will pop up on phone when you've changed the password

I was finally able to hit try again and enter my password and it accepted it so hopefully it's gone for now. Strange thing is I haven't changed my password or anything at all.
