Help PLEASE. Rooted D1 can't get to recovery screen

In Motocache1s guide you will see a mention of RSD Lite and sbf flashing. Get up to the point of right after you flash CWMR (here's a link to the SBF) but instead of flashing his root zip do a factory reset aka data/cache wipe then choose install from sd card. Choose the steel droid zip. And confirm your flash by choosing yes. This will leave you with a freshly flashed like New out of the box droid but with steel droid. Will need to set up your contacts and apps again. Hope this helps.

Thanks jrracinfan. I appreciate it. It worked. Now running SteelDroid 10. Now looking for a chevy Kernel that is ultalow either 1.1 or 1.25. I just don't know if the ones in Clockwork are compatible. Does ICE mean Ice Cream Sandwich or is it something different. I am running the SD with the Custom ICS. Is it a theme or something.

Welcome. Its just a theme. Any recent (past March 2011) kernel made for the Droid will work.
