I don't have any of my apps set to Auto Update, so I had to download it, but it did show in the app store that there was an update available.

Logmein Ignition is good and I have used the same. It works well. Additionally, you can also use on premise R-HUB remote support servers for remotely accessing computers from anywhere anytime. It works from behind the firewall, hence better security.
