Wrong forum, but in general freezing or removing bloatware is the easiest fix.

But yes, freezing unused apps does speed up most devices, as does having a faster processor and larger memory storage.
Unused apps and minimizing which apps are active have the greatest effect on device speed.
Also, uninstalling many of the preloaded bloat apps helps too. (this is where root access comes into play).
