New battery accessary

I found this on another forum. Y034 NEW 2400mAh Power Backup Extended Battery 4 Motorola Droid RAZR XT912 XT910 | eBay. What are peoples thoughts on this for the Razr. Can some one chime in on how this work please. If this does work I really dont want to take apart my Razr.

You don't take apart your phone with that... it just snaps on with the plug you see going into the usb/charging port to transfer the power from the pack to the phone.

That I understand my question which I should have stated better is does this device stay on the phone all the time increasing total battery life or is it just for recharging the battery?

Considering the dock style USB port and the "holes" for camera/flash, clips on corners to hold phone, it looks like they mean for you to carry it clipped to your phone. They also mention it and your phone can be charged/synced through female USB. Seems like an attempt to make RAZRs into MAXXs, sorta, kinda! I think a lot gets lost in the translation. What appears to be a hdmi connector on the bottom is a bit confusing though!
