A message box shows up on my screen when I tap and hold a text message. Example "Selected". The message hangs around for a while interfering with the touch keyboard. I've tried to tap, double tap, drag it around, it just stays until it goes away by itself. Irritating. Attached a screenshot.

Welcome to the forum. Go to setting and apps then find the messaging app and clear any defaults
