Just yesterday we shared a new trademark filing by Lenovo for a product called the Moto Z. Lo and behold, today a press invite for a new Moto device was leaked early. The press event is scheduled for June 9th, and the hint of a new smartphone can be seen in the image.

We suspect this will be the new Moto Z, although it's also possible that the Moto Z could be coming in the future, and this next device could be the last Moto X. Right now, that is all speculation, since we have no idea really what Motorola and Lenovo have planned. Either way, it's good to see that the previous rumors of the demise of Motorola products might have been off base.

Since we aren't sure what device this will be, here's a link to both discussion forums on the Moto Z and the Moto X 2016:

June 9th is also the date displayed in the Moto Razr video that was posted last week. Maybe they are introducing a new Razr style flip phone, and the 2016 Moto X / Z on the same day? I'm intrigued!

By the way, these are (from L to R) the projector, JBL speakers, and Hasselblad camera.

Well the looks of the JBL speakers are certainly appealing, and the Hasselblad camera, if it works well could definitely be a nice addition. But since these phones are coming with cameras and apparently the consumers are generally very concerned about the quality of the camera you would think that manufactures would spend more time and pay more attention to this and essentially eliminate the need for such an adapter as the Hasselblad.

It should be interesting to see what new cases and adapters come forth like this one. With the ARA program just around the corner, manufacturers are going to be devoting even more attention to miniaturizing there devices to fit the ARA platform. This could lead to much more powerful snap on case accessories for other Flagship phones as will.
