Reception

OK I was disappointed the IP67 wasn't included with the Note 4 release, but now my big curiosity is radio reception.
specifically Verizon reception. My Gnex was the worst reception ever. My note 2 was strong and did well.
My note 3 is sadly weak especially after the Kit Kat release. I have tried multiple radio flashes and really think its ridiculous to have to go through that.
I am hoping for strong radios / antennas. The device still has to be a phone and crappy reception for voice and data doesn't lend well to the phablet experience.
Please Samsung hook us up (literally).
Has anyone even found info on the Verizon model reception?

Just Curious, do you know the build date of your Note3? My first one was an early build and went to hell after Kit Kat update. Replaced with a CLNR under warranty and no complaints here, works great.

it is a 9/13. got a 5/14 from vzw as a replacement..same bad reception

So far, vzw reception is great on mine. All but 1 bar are lit up in my basement. Think I was missing at least 2 in the same place on my s4.

I'd say the reception is slightly better than it was with my Note 3.

We have very weal signals driving across the dry lake bed here in CA. I could usually predict where my Note 3 would drop the call. My Note 4 has carried the call much better so far.

Coming from an Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Note 4 is getting better reception for me. My S4 would only get 1 bar of 4G LTE and now I get 3 with the Note 4.

Gave my girlfriend my s4. Spotty reception at her mom's house. We were there tonight so they could see the little guy's Halloween costume. I realized I had 2 bars of 4g on my Note 4, so I grabbed her phone & held them side by side for a minute. She had 2 bars, but only 3g.

Yeah. The reception is good.
