[ROM][3.30.2011] Das BAMF 1.3 [New mods and kernel!]

Ok, I have this ROM on the SD card and ready to install. I haven't heard a clear answer to two questions.

1. Do I want to Wipe data and cache? I am rooted but 100% stock.

2. My S/W version is: 1.12.605.6 - am I good to go with this ROM?

Vulcan you should be fine with wiping the cache only.

Do you know if 1.12.605.6 is ok? (DroidDOES and I are curious now).

When I use ROM Manager and select Download ROM it asks about wipe and clear cache. Should I just boot to CW recovery and will I have the option that way to just clear cache?

"I flashed from .6 stock to 1.3 only wiping cache" from post#885 in the original thread at xda, I personally flashed from 1.2 without wiping anything. Make sure you're on the latest cwr Peeps with issues with latest CWR - xda-developers.

and yessir you can wipe the cash directly from recovery.

Just did this and the install was flawless! Oh how I missed a transparent pulldown! I wonder if B-boy's MM blue skull pulldown will work...hmmm....

I installed this Rom on a my freshly rooted phone and it worked perfect ...all I did was downloaded the Rom booted in recovery ..wipe data and cache ..I also installed the launch key apk which is bad ass.. love the Rom ! I do have one question which governor is everyone using ..I'm using the smartass ..I think just cause of the name lol I'm not sure which one is the best to use

I have only one issue with this ROM and am curious if anyone else has experienced this.

When on stock (rooted) I had no problem with syncing both voice and media with my car. Since loading this ROM...I can only sync media...the voice will not sync.

Anyone have this? Or any ideas what is going on?

App drawer is transparent so you will see your background from the app drawer and 5 rows of apps per line in the app drawer

Absolutely loving this rom. Can't wait to do a battery life test (charging atm). I hear a kernel is in the works from Adrynel that doesn't require set-cpu.

What kernel are you using? My battery life is nowhere NEAR that good! Also, does anyone know how I can get my VZW visual voicemail back? The voicemail app just takes me to messaging...

Have you reported since install I noticed right after installing it and setting up setcpu it stayed at 1.2 like it was on performance but after it rebooted it finally scaled down.
