mine force closes 3-8 times a day. i have full paid version.

Did you restore a backup for your homescreens?

I've noticed that can cause force closes sometimes. Try going into settings>applications>manage applications>Launcher> force stop, clear data, uninstall.
Then go to the market and reinstall it and make your homescreens and settings from scratch, so dont use the backup, and see if you have any force closes.

Tried but couldn't get the new music app to work... Although I must admit I didn't spend much time on it and to be honest, if I cant build it from source I don't like to include it in my ROM

Power controls in drop down its what I have spent a better part of two days working on although sadly I have yet to get it to work
