Im getting a new x2 and never been rooted and want to root this and BSR with [ROM][ALPHA][JB]CyanogenMod 10 Alpha 3 [UPDATED 1/13] and after this can i grab the 1.3.418.MB870.Verizon.en.US update afterwards? What is the procedure i would have to do? Need help for when im ready and have my phone

if you install cm10,
2.3.5/1.3.418 would be a downgrade.

Ok so i can just root,bsr and flash CM 10? I want to go for battery life what would you recommend and is the mod blueflash for battery sleep worth downloading? I under stand that is only for ICS 4.0.4. I want something fast snappy and battery life

phone needs to be running 2.3.4/1.3.380, or cm10 will not install correctly

it will cause problems on cm10, i believe

cm10 has some features, wouldn't call it snappy

you're in good hands with themib, just wanna add and agree with him on some points.

- Battery life, you are better off running Eclipse (2.3.5) or CM 7 (2.3.4)
- Blue Sleep fix DOES affect and screw with CM10
- CM10 is "fast" when it works. A lot of apps do not work well or at all with the X2... Kernel issues.

there are still some people using cm10, and like it, but many went back to eclipse or cm7.
