My guess would be that ES Quick Charge is somehow connected to ES File Explorer Pro

I think the other thread determined it was. The latest update brought it on.

It is indeed ES File Explorer. Didn't run a bug report but have seen some other who have looked at the code of ES File Explorer even the Pro Version and found its malicious state. Just a heads up that no one should download ES File Explorer Free/Pro. Not worth the hassle. I have spent 3 days looking at what was going on and I finally have found the culprit with others help of course. Hope this hasn't happened to anyone else

I uninstalled a week ago. Too bad, as it used to be a pretty good app. Hope that you are paying attention ES!

I sent them an e-mail from the link on the Play Store. They probably will just delete it and never respond, but it doesn't hurt to voice our concerns and opinions.

OK, had to post this somewhere. Was just at our local Verizon store to get a glass screen protector on my wife's Turbo 2 (Moto replaced her phone because of the charging issue ). While the nice employee was putting on the screen protector we were chatting about the Turbo 2 screen and she said "you know these shatter shield Gorilla glass screens break easy, good thing you are putting this on". Just smiled and shook my head.

Then when I mentioned the new Droids and how I wanted to see thrm in person when they hit stores, she said....

"I didn't know Motorola still makes phones. I guess they wants to beat Samsung to the new iPhone launch".

Me: Excuse me, Samsung doesn't make iPhones, Apple does.

"Oh no, Samsung has been making iPhones for a long time now."

Smiled and nodded.
